Antiche Vie is the ideal B&B if you’re dreaming to spend your holiday

in the peacefulness of the Tuscan Emilian Apennines, a land rich of history,

culture and excellent gastronomic traditions, a crossroad of ancient paths.

The B&B is situated in Pompeano di Serramazzoni (MO), on the Modenese Apennines hillside,

at 790 mt, a territory deeply vocated to the agricolture.

 

The owners Fausto, Cinzia and Elisa are tenacier keepers and defenders

of this territory and its biodiversity.

​

They have been practicing organic farming for over than 20 years,

producing the milk from which the finest quality BIO Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese is made.   

 
The B&B is situated among thousand year-old paths, on the ancient border between  

Romania (south) and Longobardia (north), between the Byzantine and the German empires.

​

For hundreds of years, these paths have been the means of communication

between the northern and southern areas of the Apennines, from Gaul to Rome,

from the Holy Roman Empire to the Papal Residence,

traversed by emperors, warriors, merchants, pilgrims and storytellers.

The B&B is also a starting point to visit some important cities and Unesco World Heritage Sites

like Modena, and other historical villages rich of history, culture and traditions:

Maranello, Castelvetro, Vignola, Nonantola, Pavullo nel Frignano, l'Abetone, Castenuovo Rangone, Guiglia, Marano sul Panaro, Savignano sul Panaro, Spilamberto, Zocca, Levizzano Rangone.
